Quick Tip: Cosmetics Purging

Cosmetics can be really expensive.  Perhaps that is one of the reasons why my clients are reluctant to purge their cosmetic collection.  One easy and quick tip is to toss any old or expired cosmetics.  How do you know if your make-up is expired?  First, use your eyes and nose.  Has the make-up changed color, texture or smell?  Not sure, then check for an expiration date.  If there is no date,  then look up the expiration date using the batch code printed on the container.  Use this cosmetics calculator (Cosmetic Expiration Check) where you can find out the exact date of your make-up and whether you should toss it.
